Indications/Uses

Testosterone replacement therapy in male hypogonadal disorders. Osteoporosis due to androgen deficiency.

Dosage/Direction for Use

IM 1 mL 3 wkly.

Contraindications

Known or suspected prostatic or mammary carcinoma.

Special Precautions

Latent or overt cardiac failure, renal dysfunction, HTN, epilepsy, migraine; prepuberty.

Adverse Reactions

Priapism, signs of excessive sexual stimulation, oligospermia, decreased ejaculatory vol; fluid & salt retention. In prepubertal boys, precocious sexual development, increased frequency of erections, phallic enlargement, premature epiphyseal closure.
